The third edition of form TA10 Fittings and Contents fulfils a similar purpose to the second edition of TA10 published in April 2009 and previous editions of the Fixtures, Fittings and Contents Form, versions of which have been produced by the Law Society since 1992.

The third edition of form TA6 fulfils a similar purpose to the Seller's Property Information Form, a version of which has been widely used by solicitors and their clients since 1990.

When used in domestic conveyancing transactions it is designed to be used in conjunction with form TA10 Fittings and Contents Form (3rd edition) and, if the property is leasehold, TA7 Leasehold Information Form (2nd edition).
