Registration and registration information
It is necessary for you to register with us in order to make payments through this website for the associated books and gifts displayed. By registering, it will also allow us to personalise our services to you.
When you log in, you are responsible for protecting your password and user name and must not share them with or disclose them to anyone else.
When you register or purchase products from us, the basic personal information about you which we collect is your name, email address and postal address.
The Law Society may use the information you provide us on this site for the purposes of processing your order and for advertising, marketing and public relations connected with our products. We only hold this information for long as necessary for those purposes. We may use the email contact details you provide to us to notify you from time to time about similar products and services that we think you may find of interest, if you have agreed we can do so upon registration.

Changing the information we hold about you
If you would like to change the registration information we hold about you or if you want to change the e-mail address at which you receive e-mail notification of orders placed, you may do so by returning to the personalisation area and changing or removing your details as you wish. Third Parties
When you place an order with us it will be performed on our behalf by Mitie Business Services Limited (“Mitie”). Your order will be processed by Mitie’s sub-contractors Cubiquity Limited (order processing and payment) and Dawley Services Limited (warehousing and dispatch). These companies collect information about you in order to perform these functions on our behalf but are not permitted to use this information for any purpose other than processing and fulfilling your order. They are under legal and contractual obligations to keep your information secure.
We do not at present forward the information collected about you via this website to any other third parties except where required by law to do so. At all times, the Law Society will control and be responsible for the use of your information.

Payment details
Your credit card details may be captured if you chose to pay for items on our website via credit card. These details will be encrypted and processed by Worldpay, our online payment provider. They will use security software called SSL to make sure your details are collected and held securely and cannot be read by a third party. If you chose to pay via invoice or cheque this may be administered by Cubiquity.
