Alison Matthews, currently serving as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer and Director of Quality & Risk at Shoosmiths LLP, also operates her own training and compliance consultancy, Alison Matthews Consulting. With extensive experience in the field, she has previously worked as a compliance consultant and lectured on the subject. Alison has chaired the Law Society’s Money Laundering Task Force for four years and was a member of the government’s Money Laundering Advisory Committee. Additionally, she is the author of the Law Society’s Anti-Money Laundering Toolkit, 2nd edition.
