About the author
Jo Summers has practised in private client and wealth since qualifying, building a reputation for dealing effectively with international estates. She is known for her expertise on domicile issues, including providing domicile opinions for succession, divorce and tax purposes.
Jo has extensive experience of handling probate applications with an international element, whether that is UK clients with assets overseas, or non-UK clients with UK situated assets. She advises on obtaining relief from double taxation, where tax is due in more than one country, as well as on the practical steps needed to deal with assets in multiple jurisdictions.
