Property law is complex yet most of the mistakes made are simple, easily avoided and a result of human error.
Managing risk is a requirement of the SRA Standards and Regulations, Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS), Lexcel and professional indemnity insurers.
The second edition of Risk and Negligence in Property Transactions identifies the specific issues that arise at different stages of the acquisition of land and outlines the risks faced when acting for the buyer, seller and lender that may give rise to liability in negligence.

Message from the author
“We wrote the book because we identified an important gap in the market: most PI claims against lawyers arise from property transactions, yet no specialist text existed. This new edition is a valuable resource to help practitioners identify and manage risk in property transactions.” John de Waal.
